Here are a few notes from the flight deck.
Fleet Changes
You may have noticed some changes to the virtual airline fleet. Most of the AI fleet has been moved out of the VA and is now managed by one of our holding companies. This change allows revenue to flow to the VA without the added expenses.
For member companies running AI routes and jobs with VA aircraft, there’s no need to make any changes. This is more of a housekeeping matter for the website's "Angry Accountant."
Site Improvements
I spent some time fine-tuning the website. I secured the API data to prevent others from sponging off us. Additionally, I worked to reduce the clutter we’ve been seeing, particularly with the dreaded Emoji Bake.
WASM Issues and PMDG Updates
I dedicated a good part of the weekend attempting to replicate some WASM issues on the PMD 737-800. Wouldn’t you know it? I couldn’t trace any problems this weekend! So, not much progress there.
I did read that PMDG recently updated the 737-600 ahead of the 737-800 for memory and display issues. Before the weekend ends, I plan to get some time in the 737-600.
Welcoming New Members
We have a few new members in the VA! Please be sure to give them a warm welcome. And later, don’t forget to write new limericks on the bathroom walls using their names!
