A Call for Creative Chaos: Design Our Next Livery!

A Call for Creative Chaos: Design Our Next Livery!

2026-04-30

Captain TX is on the hunt for a livery designer with a flair for humor and a touch of madness.

Attention All Talented Livery Designers!

Captain TX is extending a call to arms—or perhaps a call to brushes and pixels—because Southwest Of Sanity needs your artistic genius! And, if you happen to have a sense of humor, a steady hand, and a questionable dependency on caffeinated beverages or other creative stimulants, you just might be our savior.

The Challenge

Here’s the deal: we’re looking for some fresh liveries to deck out our trusty PMDG 737-800. Think you can deliver something that’ll make our passengers chuckle as they buckle up? Prove it! I’m particularly partial to the LoneStar livery, but I’m open to seeing what you’ve got in your artistic arsenal.

Submission Guidelines

  • Send your mock-ups directly to me via Discord.
  • Be prepared to show your final product because, let’s be real, the proof is in the pudding—or in this case, the livery.
  • Once we have some submissions, I’ll create a voting system to let the community decide which design reigns supreme.

Let’s Avoid Another ‘Three Day’ Debacle!

Now, a little word of caution: the last artist I hired promised me a livery in three days and left me waiting for months. Spoiler alert: they did not receive a repeat invitation. So, if you’re committed and can deliver, there’s some money to be made here!

Good luck, and let’s see who brings the best dose of chaos to our aircraft!

Spread the word and may the best design win!
