✈ Virtual Airline • OnAir Stratus • SWASA
Welcome aboard the problem.
Southwest Of Sanity is a virtual airline for pilots who believe a good route network should include short hops, suspicious logistics, and just enough mechanical optimism to taxi without a committee meeting.
We fly OnAir, we watch the Discord channel, and we keep a live board because somebody has to know whether the airplane landed, departed, canceled, or simply became a rumor with a transponder.
Twenty-five aviation questions so obscure that even the FMS may pretend it lost power.
👨✈️ Supreme Airborne Authority
Meet Captain TX.
Captain TX is our leader, spiritual ramp supervisor, and official interpreter of noises that may or may not be coming from the left engine. His command philosophy is simple: fly the airplane, trust the checklist, and never ask maintenance a question you are not emotionally prepared to hear answered.
Under his steady command, Southwest Of Sanity has grown into the kind of virtual airline where the dispatch board updates in real time, the Discord bot keeps receipts, and the phrase “good enough for the return leg” is treated as an operational milestone.
The Flagship: Captain TX's 737-800
This is the crown jewel of the fleet, assuming the crown was found in a ramp dumpster and the jewel was secured with speed tape. She has character, history, and two engines that remain attached in the legal, emotional, and mostly visual sense.
Our company logo represents heart, wings, lightning, and the kind of confidence only available to a virtual airline whose risk department was last seen boarding a different carrier.
About Us
We are a laid-back virtual airline built around flying often, laughing at ourselves, and making the logbook more interesting than a sterile spreadsheet full of regret.
Built Around OnAir
Our operations use OnAir Company as the career and economy backbone. Pilots can fly jobs, move passengers and cargo, earn company progress, and help build a route network without needing a second job as a pretend airline accountant.
Operations Style
Short-haul routes, practical hubs, flexible aircraft choices, and Discord-friendly reporting. Serious flying is welcome. Taking ourselves seriously is strictly discouraged by policy.
Flight Simulator Reviews
New add-ons, hardware, utilities, and suspicious purchases reviewed for pilots who want better simming and fewer box-opening regrets.
Captain's Flight Log
Captain TX records the flights, incidents, miracles, paperwork fires, and engine-attachment optimism that define Southwest Of Sanity operations.
Downloads
Liveries, tools, templates, files, and questionable operational aids that may or may not improve the airline, but will definitely increase the folder count.
Bring a flight sim, an OnAir account, and a willingness to explain a firm landing with confidence.
